How to Book Your ICBC Road Test
Booking your Road Test
When can you book your road test?
For cars and motorcycle testing, the earliest date you can take the test is listed on your license. It is recommended that you book far in advance, as ICBC’s offices are often busy, especially during the spring and summer.
New appointment openings on earlier dates may become available as people cancel or reschedule, so check often to secure the earliest date. Note that calling to book or reschedule an appointment will not result in different available times than booking online.
Where do you book your road test?
Once you are ready for your road test, you can book it online at the ICBC website.
Choosing a Driver Licensing Office
Only certain driver licensing offices will offer road tests. The test route will vary depending on the location of your exam, and will cover typical driving scenarios such as major intersections, school zones, residential areas, main roads, etc. It is recommended that you book a road test in a location you are familiar with.
